How to hitchhike from Rio de Janeiro to Belo Horizonte - A guide to foreigners

Hitchhiking from Rio de Janeiro to Belo Horizonte in 4 steps:

1. 1st step: take a bus from Central do Brasil (Rio de Janeiro) to Vila Canaã (border of Duque de Caxias), and ask to get off it in the toll
2. 2nd step: thumbs up! there's a Federal Police next to the toll
   (the cars go too fast by this toll, anyway i got a ride in less than 20minutes. maybe it'll be easier to you if you take a bus to Petrópolis and start hitchhiking from there. but the bus is like 10reais more expensive -not too much, but you can drink like 3 bottles of beer with the difference hahah-)
3. 3rd step: bye bye! ;P

I got 3 rides.. about each one:

1. 1st ride: took me from Duque de Caxias (border of Rio de Janeiro) to Três Rios (RJ)
2. 2nd ride: from Três Rio (RJ) to Ressaquinha (Minas Gerais)
3. 3rd ride: from Ressaquinha (MG) to Belo Horizonte (MG)
