Quando estava chovendo, eu fiquei ensopado, um casal me deu uma carona e me fez um convite
Nada mal para quem ia ter que acampar na beira da estrada em algum lugar no norte da Alemanha durante uma noite chuvosa, né?Brevemente falando - Sim, eu estou na Dinamarca!
Comecei a pedir carona em Berlim e apareceu uma carona indo para algum lugar perto de Kiel, no norte. Não era realmente o caminho que eu planejei fazer, mas o motorista falava Inglês e parecia estar muito interessado em me ajudar de alguma forma - então resolvi mudar minha rota e aceitar a carona dele. Geralmente ele é motorista de caminhão, mas estava dirigindo um carro nesse dia. Ele era tāo solícito que até me ofereceu seu telefone para que eu pudesse ligar pra um amigo meu que conhece alguém na cidade de Kiel e talvez pudesse me conseguir uma hospedagem pra essa noite. Mas não deu certo, entāo eu decidi não descer em Kiel. O motorista me deixou em algum lugar perto Kappeln, uma pequena cidade entre Kiel e Flensburg.
Uma bendita de uma chuva estava caindo. Eu já estava todo molhado e ninguém parava, e eu estava a apenas 46 km de Flensburg.
Até que esse casal da foto que passava de carro parou pra mim. Assim que entrei no carro, a mulher me perguntou onde eu estava indo. Eu disse que meu plano era chegar a Odense, na Dinamarca, mas eu estava começando a acreditar que eu teria que acampar à beira da estrada em algum lugar no caminho. Já era por volta das 20h.
- Quer ficar na nossa casa hoje e dormir numa cama quente? - ela perguntou.
- Claro, eu adoraria. - Respondi.
Só depois disso que começamos a nos apresentar um ao outro, e essas coisas. Conversamos sobre algumas coisas interessantes, mas eu não quero fazer este texto ficar ainda mais longo do que já está. :)
Era para eu acampar todo molhado na beira da estrada e debaixo de chuva, mas de repente eu estava tomando um bom banho em uma banheira quentinha e dormindo em uma cama confortável naquela noite. E com essas janelas de vidro grandes que você não pode ver bem na imagem, mas através dela eu via algumas árvores, o mar com alguns barcos, e uma parte da Dinamarca lá do outro lado da água.
Jantamos e conversamos um pouco em espanhol com suas duas filhas adolescentes que estāo estudando espanhol na escola. Na manhã seguinte, tomamos café da manhã juntos e eles ainda decidiram me levar até a fronteira da Alemanha e da Dinamarca (!), de onde eu consegui outras caronas com pouco tempo esperando.

Bom, foi tudo uma questão de confiança. E de gentileza. E acredito que aquelas foram algumas horas bem agradáveis tanto pra eles quanto pra mim. Fim. :D

Not too bad for who was supposed to camp by the road in northern part of Germany in a rainy night, right?
Shortly: Yes, I'm in Denmark!
Started hitchhiking in Berlin and got a ride to somewhere near Kiel, in the north. That wasn't really the route that I planned to take, but the driver spoke English and seemed to be very interested in helping me somehow - so why not changing my route and joining him. It was a truck driver, but he was driving a car this day. He was so solicitous that he even offered me his phone so I could call a friend of mine who knows someone in the city of Kiel and maybe could find me a place to stay for the night. But it didn't work, so I decided not to get off in Kiel. The driver then dropped me off somewhere near Kappeln, a little town between Kiel and Flensburg.
A stupid rain was falling down. I got all wet and people were not pulling over, and I was just 46km to Flensburg.
So this couple in the picture who was passing by car stopped for me. Almost as soon as I entered the car, the woman asked me where I was going to. I said my plan was to arrive to Odense, Denmark in that same day, but I was actually starting to believe that I'd have to camp by the road somewhere on the way. It was already around 8pm.
- Do you wanna stay at our place so that you sleep in a warm bed? - she asked.
- Sure, why not. - I answered.
Just after that we started introducing ourselves to each other, and all that. We talked about some interesting stuff, but I don't wanna make this post any longer than it already is. :)
I was supposed to camp all wet by the road and under the rain, but suddenly I was taking a nice bath in a warm bathtub and sleeping in a comfy bed for that night instead. And with this nice big windows which you can't see in the picture but the sight from it was to some trees, and then the sea with some boats, and Denmark just across the water. We had dinner and we've spoke some Spanish with their two teenager daughters who've been studying Spanish at school. In the next morning we had breakfast together AND they decided to drive me to the border of Germany and Denmark, from where I quickly got other rides.
Well, it was all about trust. And helping. And I believe those were some nice hours chatting both for me and hopefully for them as well. The end. :D
